Haven very still & needed outside stimulation to gain liveliness after Max left without saying goodbye. He looks forwRd to seeing him every day - a reunion that his dad does not feel even remotely the same about. After max left around 945pm to finally get diapers (i told him this morning that Haven didn't have any left, to which he responded something like, oh aleady. max yelled at Me thru bathroom door that haven had peed on him and he had piss all over him - like it was my fault. Haven was extremely upset when he left. When he returned after 10pm, Haven and i were in bed reading kids books and snuggling in the dim light. Haven was stoked as usual and clambered over me to the edge of the bed. He yelled daddy! Daddy!!! And enthusiastically threw his arms wide for a hug to/from his dad. A hug that Max entirely rejected, to Haven's disappointment and confusion. It breaks my heart how much he still thinks max will love him and actually care about Haven and his happiness. After spending time here again it's obvious that won't happen unless a very dramatic and lifelong habit-altering incident happens to Max. Max slowly came in the door. Hi-he said to haven guardedly. He rejected havens hug and after a pause contijued towars the kitchen.
