Suggestion to the other parent re Haven + Their Reaction

Last night, I suggested that Max do something fun with Haven.  My suggestion was made clearly and was heard by everyone in the room, which was myself, Max and Haven.  After I made the suggestion, nobody moved or said anything for a few seconds.  I said something to break the ice, then Haven indicated he wanted to watch Booba, which I protested.  It was a really nice day and he’d watched Booba for hours and hours, too many hours, very recently.  Haven told Max he wanted to watch Booba and Max told Haven I didn’t want Haven to watch it.  Max acted eager to help Haven find a TV show he wanted to watch, where a few moments prior he showed no interest whatsoever in any kind of positive, relationship-strengthening interaction with Haven.
