We had to stop bike ride walk and go back bc Haven “saw something really cool “

Walk up hill around first few blocks of school area - alley stuff spot and back. We both found the perfect walking sticks but left them in front of the elementary school because I carried Haven most of the way back. He was very tired and when he did walk, he walked with a limp. He was tireless as always, though, and quick to run away or toward something with the slightest motivation. Spirits very good. Happy boy. He played with River and Edgar today. The last day of Seafair. I cleaned Max’s apartment while they watched the Blue Angels from the roof of Max’s parents’ house (a few houses down the street) and bbq’d and ate cake and hung out with 30 other people. I didn’t have any food. I didn’t watch the jets but the slightest bit at the very end because I was mopping The floor of Max’s apartment.

After Haven and I went for our walk on foot, we arrived at Max’s apartment to find him with the front door open and making hurried movements inside. He was changing the locks on the front door again.

Haven lost interest in that fast and indicated he wanted to go on a bike ride. He directed me around the closest residential streets and then before we reached Starbucks heading south, Haven rode and steered his tricycle for the first time ever all by himself!! He’s been practicing in subtle little ways, and suddenly he felt bold enough to test his skills. I was very high pitched voice praising him.

Max read to Haven before bed, Max’s suggestion. 2.5 books. It was cute. Haven ate and ate and ate today. Very pleased with his eating:)

Helped me water raspberries and apple tree in the near-dark dirty gray of dusk. Creepy old moon discussions. Half moon, and other shapes of the moon, always following me and Haven.
