Basement bedroom in a 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex in the Central District. This house is truly a gem and at a really good price! The house has tons of charm, big living space and fairytale backyard. The room itself is in the basement and has a door both to the stairs and to the room itself. It is a funky basement room, so look at the pictures and see if it could work for you. I absolutely loved the space myself.

My current roomate is a 24 year old femme, works on a farm and will be occupying the other bedroom so please message to see if it’s a good fit! Looking for someone friendly, communicative and down to create a home to both socialize and have respected time to yourself. the apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms, a huge kitchen with a gas range, and a spacious bathroom with a clawfoot tub/shower. the bedroom is unfurnished. gorgeous high ceilings, radiator heat, natural light, and lots of houseplants. it's on central bus lines and right next to grocery stores. there’s zoned parking if you’ve got a car, and there’s always parking spots within a couple blocks. it is on a main road so street noise is a thing. i'm down to redecorate/refurnish common spaces if you’ve got stuff you want to bring in.

half the rent is $992. including bills its about $1050 total per person each month. it’s a month-to-month lease you could be on, but still reach out if you have barriers preventing that. i’m open to sublet. the landlord is generally hands-off.

no pets allowed in the building, although i have an ESA cat who’s super chill, playful, and snuggly.

i’m a 26 year old nonbinary lesbian poc. they/them. COVID & mpox vaxxed. i’ve lived in shared housing for the past 10 years and am a chill roommate. highly prioritize keeping shared spaces clean and direct communication. i do my best to keep the home a sanctuary and value the same energy from others who live and spend time here. i’m vegan but don’t care what you eat as long as the kitchen is kept clean. i am mostly sober these days, you do you. i vacillate between being introverted and social, and love having friends over for chill hangouts. i spend a lot of my time at home doing movement practices and the second living room has become a movement/creative space. i’ve got an xpole installed that you’re welcome to use if you dance. i do work from home currently and am taking online courses.
