How thoughtful Haven is: draw a parrot

he had been impressed with how much I love parrots and wanted to allow me that delight in being asked to draw one. He didn’t ask me to do that for him. He asked me to do that for me.

Tonight i found the plastic figure of the brunette haired woman with the bird held on her hand near her shoulder.

There weren’t any other of the figures around and it was by the cars he’s been into playing with since his return, Lightning “McQueen cars.”

I knew it had something to do with me and it touched me. more like smash squashed me with the heavy of the touch. no one has been truly personally nice to me in a very long time. Not in a way I’ve understood, and not in such an intimate and connected way. He’s amazing to me. Are kids supposed to be like this?
