It's been freezing cold out, sans ice. Hailed yesterday afternoon. This morning, Max told me there was a pigeon directly outside the front door. It had its dark, charcoal grey feathers ruffled out, puffed up against the cold. He didnt startle at my nearness Or movement. His tail feathers were half gone, like they had been chewed off or burned.
Earlier Max had asked me what liquid was inside of a spray bottle. Took me a minute after seeing the bird to realize Max asked me that bc he wanted to spray the bird with something to try and get it to leave. I wonder if he sprayed it or not. What an asshole.
